This article scientifically analyzes the conceptual principles of business processes in the development of tourist areas of the region. The relevance of the study is explained by the need to ensure sustainable and effective development of regions in the conditions of increasing competition in the global tourism market. The article highlights the contribution of the tourism sector to economic growth, its role in increasing investment attractiveness, and the processes of adaptation to international, in particular European, standards.
The study substantiates the following basic principles of organizing business processes: standardization, infrastructure modernization, legal harmonization, inclusiveness, sustainability and flexibility, strategic planning, and monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. Special attention is also paid to the issues of expanding local community participation and rational use of tourism resources.
