Fоrmatiоn of New Methоd Schооls and Spiritual Renewal
Abstract
This study explores the educational and cultural reforms initiated by the Jadid movement in Turkestan, focusing on their efforts to modernize education and foster national progress through science and innovation. The research highlights the establishment of new schools, libraries, and reading rooms by the Jadids as a means to address societal backwardness and colonial oppression. Employing historical, pedagogical, and sociological methodologies, the study examines the educational contributions of prominent figures like Ishaqkhan Ibrat and Munavvarqori Abdurashidkhanov. The results reveal that the adoption of modern teaching methods, the development of innovative curricula, and the emphasis on integrating science and technology significantly advanced the educational landscape of Turkestan. These reforms laid the groundwork for broader socio-cultural transformations, emphasizing the relevance of enlightened education in national development.
